A SCHUBERTIADE

Tickets: £12.00

25 & under: £6.00

18 & under:£1.00

This evening celebrates the music and unforgettable melodies of Franz Schubert. During his lifetime Schubertiade were informal gatherings which usually included the composer's participation and his latest compositions. This programme celebrates the Viennese master’s work through his Lieder (Songs), Impromptus for piano, the Arpeggione Sonata and finishing with a performances of his much loved The Shepherd on the Rock cycle.

An unforgettable immersion – recreating a historical ‘domestic’ performance inter-woven with stories connected and including some of the master’s greatest hits!

‘What a glorious night of music this was’

Leopold Kupelwieser (Schubert’s friend:

the well-known Viennese painter).
