On Friday, 17th September, St Alkmund's Church, Shrewsbury, was the venue for a reception to launch the Trust's 2021-22 season.
Patrons, Friends and Trustees were treated to a short concert including music by Brahms and Martinu. Concert director, John Moore, was joined by friends Alex Postlethwaite and David Joyce (violins), Jane Postlethwaite (viola), Ruth Henley (cello) and - and name to watch out for - Lawrence Plant on French Horn, playing Gilbert Vinter's 'Hunter's Moon', arranged for French horn and piano.
After the delightful concert, attendees mingled over a glass or two of wine and new volunteers were found to help with season leaflet distribution and concert front-of-house duties, for which we are very grateful.
