A varied and impressive line-up of artists is announced for our 2024-25 season. Now in our 41st year, we have been proud to offer programmes featuring aspects of classical, contemporary and world music over the last four decades. John Moore, Musical Director, says "It is really amazing that we have managed to attract world-class performers to the county who will give concerts featuring music ranging from Mozart to Joni Mitchell. Shropshire is blessed with an array of rich musical events and we are thrilled to be able to enrich this offering – we hope audiences will enjoy our programme as much as we do.”

One of the highlights of the season will be an appearance on March 23 next year of official royal harpist Alis Huws at the Festival Drayton Centre in Market Drayton.

Andrea Belloli, Simon Cousins and Peter Barritt have come on board to help steer the trust as it evolves in the coming years.

“We are delighted to welcome our new trustees, who all bring a range of experience and skills,” said John Moore, artistic director. “We have achieved great things over the last 40 years and we now have an exceptional board who will help to lead us as we continue our mission to bring top class musical events to the county.”
